Thank you for being a part of the Shaking Medicine Foundation.
Our foundation offers subscription-based services as well as in-person events such as classes, workshops, retreats, immersions, and teacher trainings. Our refund policy depends on the nature of the service.
For the Subscription based services:
We feel that we offer sufficient free and/ or trail period material that any person who subscribes to our paid online services has enough of an understanding of what we offer so as to not be purchasing something that is completely out of their expectation; therefore we do not offer refunds for subscription based services unless there is an error that is the fault of our Foundation.
The user is responsible for cancelling their own recurring payments. We do not offer refunds for forgetting to cancel.
Steps to cancel your membership recurring payments:
After you cancel your membership your access to the subscription service will remain active until the end of the period that you have paid for.
For events such as workshops, retreats, immersions, and teacher trainings:
In general, Shaking Medicine does not offer refunds for events.
If you cannot attend an event that you have paid for, then we are happy to transfer your full payment as credit towards other events.
We are also happy to transfer your credit to another guest.
We do not offer credit for a guest arriving late or leaving early.
If Shaking Medicine must cancel a booked date for any reason, you may transfer your full payment to another booking, or receive a full refund of your payment.
Shaking Medicine is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any event for any reason, such as airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip, even if the event was cancelled by the Shaking Medicine Foundation or the facilitator of the event.
